PREVENT INJURY, ALLEVIATE TENSION AND PROMOTE HEALING WITH REGULAR
CHECK-INS.

To maintain optimal wellness and stay on top of symptoms, many patients schedule regular visits for adjustments, massage or acupuncture. Dr. Steinys can recommend a course of wellness treatments that suits you.

Chiropractic Adjustment

Diversified chiropractic technique is the primary treatment we use at Core – a quick adjustment applied to joints to instill motion, stretch surrounding muscles and stimulate the nervous system. Studies show this a safe, effective way to keep your body properly aligned. Go to acatoday.org for more information about our industry’s highest standards for patient care.

Massage

Massage helps restore function to muscles and joints. If you stress your body physically through sports, bad posture or repetitive motion at work, regular massage therapy can help prevent injury. Massage therapy alleviates muscle tension and pain, lowers your blood pressure and eases stress. There are countless benefits from regular massage including improved circulation, flexibility, even your mental health.

We provide Clinical Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, and Prenatal Massage. All of our massage therapists are licensed by the state of Illinois.

Dr. Steinys is certified in Graston technique, a deep tissue, instrument-assisted massage. Go to grastontechnique.com for more information.

Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese acupuncture balances the flow of energy known as qi or chi (CHEE) — believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, your energy flow will re-balance. The World Health Organization recognizes the use of acupuncture in the treatment of countless symptoms: digestion, reproduction, muscle tightness, nerve pain, stress, sleep issues and sinusitis. Acupuncture can even help you quit smoking and lose weight.

Dry Needling (needles are considered ‘dry’ as no fluid is injected) is a modern treatment that has its roots in ancient Chinese medicine. Dry needling is the insertion of extremely thin needles into the skin at trigger points in the muscles to help release knots and relieve any muscle pain or spasms. Dry needling is also sometimes called intramuscular stimulation.
